  • Economy

    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

A lot of car for the money, residulals still seem good.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Not cheap, tyres being very costly but last well. Sevicing intervals are worryingly far apart.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Down country lanes it handles more like a performance car than a 4x4. Very sure footed in the worst of conditions.

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

For a 3 Litre and such a lot of vehicle, it performs superbly. 0 to 60 a bit slow but you can't have everything!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Most annoying really. Only goes in for a service so it does not get a regular clean.

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

A great poser mobile. Merc M-Class always seem envious and wish they had waited!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Still comfortable, even after a 300 mile drive. Running boards are a bit irritating as it is impossible not to get your clothes dirty from them during the bad weather.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

So far so good. Perhaps it helps that it is very visible. Especially useful in car parks as it is always easy to find.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

Pretty good, although I was promised an X-5 during servicing and when the time came they didn't have one.
