Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I wanted a low slung fun weekend two seater that was engaging to drive and this fit the bill on my budget. Not as fast as modern hot hatches but more fun for me. I keep wondering about more power but actually this car has very well balanced size, weight and power. Needs attention to tyres, suspension and alignment to keep handling sweet. Steering feel could be better. Gearbox little tricky from 1st to 2nd even with CDV delete. These are forgivable quirks to me. Hatchback is very practical, I have done an (albeit rather cramped) flat move in it. Remove the foam from the sound generator for max induction noise pleasure. Traction is very good on PS4s, rarely steps out unexpectedly but enough for a frisson. Drive it year round on summers for fun but I would put winter tyres on if I had to commute. I get valve lifter tick after short journeys when the oil is getting towards needing to be changed but can live with it. It's not perfect and yes I'd love a Porsche or Z4M but can't be beaten as an enthusiasts car for the money.

How reliable do you find the car?

1st year brake caliper seized, 2nd year ABS pump failed, 3rd year water pump failed failed, 4th year rear spring broken

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I love the low-slung rawness and stiffness of the car. Gear box and handling demands your attention when driving. Traction is surprisingly good.
