• Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

I'm middle-aged and sensible, and move large things around.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love it - comfortable and practical.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I'd buy it again if it had a sportier engine and quieter ventilation ( - fan noise gets on my nerves after a while.) The design and ride are perfect for me.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another of these, or a RAV4 if I'm feeling rich.

  • Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £10,500

When did you buy the car?

    August 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

The trade-in on my Jazz was pretty poor, and they threw in almost nothing with the C3 (even car mats were extra!) But I got an amazing deal overall so not unhappy. The 3-year servicing was a good price and they collect the car!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Demonstrator with 30 miles on the clock and a great discount; good equipment and colour.

    What was the dealer like?

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but well-meaning. We got there eventually.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Quiet and laid-back. Really NOT nippy, I'm afraid. Although the EGS auto box takes its time, it produces incredibly smooth gear changes. I'm a little impatient but have still averaged 40mpg. The ride is good and it's quiet on motorways.

    What's it like to park?

    A doddle. But then, I'm good.. ;-).

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing at all. Have driven 10,500 miles now and never missed a beat. I have to say somewhere, the ventilation fan is tiresomely noisy and the aircon rather weak (though I'll have that checked).

What's most practical about your car?

Boot access, rear seats folding flat, great visibility and ergonomics, good trip computer.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Bluetooth and cruise control, user-friendly stereo (except with iPod, for which navigation is a pain.).
