• Summary

What does this car say about you?

Not a lot. But who wants a car to make a statement about who you are.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Its useful when they want lifts and things moved. Cars are not that much of a talking point unless they are individual. Modern cars that meet that criteria are few and far between, the Grand Picasso is not one of them!

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would recommend the Grand Picasso to anyone with similar circumstances. I hope this one of mine will last me until I want a different type of car (less utility).

What are you likely to buy next?

    A classic saloon.

    August 2012

Paid fair price for low mileage car of the spec I wanted.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Least mechanically complex modern MPV.

    What was the dealer like?

Pre delivery items agreed were not corrected and 4 visits later were still unresolved. Moved responsibility to my local dealer and service improved greatly. Must just be a Brentford West problem!

    What's it like to drive?

Its a good touring vehicle, but does not like to be pushed around corners too hard and is a bit harsh if you hit any pot holes, but the high driving position enables you to see most of those to avoid. Goodyear Efficient Grip tyres are so much better that the Michelin original fitment for comfort and low noise.

    What's it like to park?

Easy. Visibility all round is good and is still fits the standard size bay.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Gear selection is not a smooth as I thought it should be, but no failures and I still think I bought the right car for my requirements.

What's most practical about your car?

A good size but not too large for car parks or positioning. Good seating for family and lots of storage for all the bits and pieces you need in a car.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Fold-away 2nd and 3rd row seats are so easy once you know all the position and folding / lifting options. Horn at the bottom of the wheel centre is in the wrong place!
