Everyone likes the comfort and space - some remark that the comfort is exceptional.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £16,000

When did you buy the car?

    April 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

Cash price was reasonable, at half original price after just over two years, with low mileage, and great kit as standard on this model.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Comfort, Auto, Diesel, Space, Equipment.

    What was the dealer like?

Excellent knowledge of the marque and the model. Disappointed that he would not take trade-in of my car, which was 9 years old but very well looked after, and in good condition.

  • Driving it

    3 out of 5 3.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fairly brisk, good on motorways and the straighter roads but feels fairly ponderous on sharper bends (car seems to scream at you to slow down), Great city car, excellent as a taxi. Handling needs to be a lot sharper for twisty roads, but perhaps you cannot have this and the superb comfort as well?

    What's it like to park?

Although a lrge car parking is easy with the park assist, front and rear, which is excellent.

  • Living with it

    3 out of 5 3.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Very little. Headlamp, Dip and Side bulbs are very difficult to replace - one would need the hand of a surgeon or a child, to fit in the tiny spaces involved.

What's most practical about your car?

Auto is very nice - 6 speeds and a fairly high mechanically locked-up top gear, super 'winter' and 'sports' options and also adapts to your driving style. Engine torquey, strong, reliable, but not as economical as I would like (av. 37.1 mixed). Plenty of poke when you want it. Lots of space - very roomy throughout. Suspension is superb - very comfortable, and the adjustable height is great for loads of situations - trailers, driving on and off small ferries, rough terrain, etc, etc. Always passes MOTs with flying colours.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Speed Limiter is terrific. Park Assist a close second.
