Economy
Value
Lots of spec and space for the money, but only have a C8 that is still in warranty (although expect problems to take a few days or weeks to be sorted). Depreciation is a nightmare.
Costs
Only kept the car during warranty, but Citroen parts (windscreen wipers etc) are generally expensive compared to the rest.

Driving
Really easy to drive for such a big car and comfortable too.
Performance
The 110bhp diesel works ok with the C8, but economy is around 25 to 30mpg. The best was 37mpg.

Living with it
Reliability
Mechanically the car was sounds, but electric glitches with elec doors, self checking computer, sensors, windows, sunroofs and earthing caused me problems. Trim on tailgate commonly falls off - be careful its a weight if it hits you.

C8 looks the best compared to its other variants from Peugeot and Fiat. Image is good for the type of car, especially with black out windows in rear and roof spoiler / bars (VIP Pack option).
Comfort
Comfort all round is good, but seats wear very quickly, especially with car seats. Lots of rattles and creaks and flimsy fittings. Be careful to check it has not been in an accident - lots have in my experience and repairs are normally poor.

Security
Good security and neat features that open / close windows with remote - alarm and immobiliser standard. Downside is that easy to open car without realising with remote in pocket.
Service
Service was very good, but the car often left the dealer confused and meant the car had to be connected to France to be fixed remotely.

Engine
A couple of recalls and a slight oil leak fixed under warranty.
Other
Electrics are the big issue and poor wearing interior. Rear wash wipe often stops working (pipe connection comes apart due to pressure of water!) Also be careful with tyre selection. Elec doors went wrong 8 times in 6 months and I sold with problems.
