Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I love driving the car, it's easy to drive, easy to park and I love how punchy it is for a diesel! It's comfy to drive on long journeys, especially considering all models come with cruise control as standard. Having said that, if you have kids who are quite tall, I recommend you steer clear. I have sat in the back of this a few times whilst cleaning windows etc and the headroom is non existent! I haven't let this affect my review however as apart from cleaning, I never have to get in the back! Boot space can be an issue, I'm not sure if I'm just buying too much shopping or something but it's quite a struggle sometimes to get a full week of shopping in the boot. There has been a few times where I've had to put the seats down. Speaking of putting the seats down, don't get hoping to put any pieces of furniture in the car as the seats do NOT fold flat not are they removable. I used to fetch many things in my old car as the seats could be removed and the back of the seat could be folded completely flat, sadly in the DS3 this is certainly not the case. Considering the car is French which aren't usually known for having the most robust interiors, I'm happy to say that there are no annoying rattles or squeaks. Having said that, you can certainly tell it was built by the French, only they could put a glove box into a car that isn't even big enough to fit a pair of gloves into! There is also a severe lack of any sort of drink holder and the center arm rest makes accessing the handbrake impossible when folded down! (Don't you just LOVE the French!) One thing to bear in mind is the added running costs on top of the poor MPG. The car uses a DPF cleaning fluid called EOLYS. Every time you open your fuel tank to fuel up, it injects some of the EOLYS into the tank, the more often you fill up the quicker you get through it. This fluid is expensive to have topped up at £300 so bear that in mind when factoring in running costs!

How reliable do you find the car?

The car itself has never given us any issues which is more than we can say from the garage we brought it from.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

The official figures quote 75MPG+ but in reality, I get around 49MPG which is a big let down! If it wasn't for this the car would get 5 stars in this section.
