In their own words

This is the first time I've paid so much for a car. We thought we'd treat ourselves and went all out and ordered the top spec model. We've only owned this car for 5 weeks and done 2,000 miles and we already regret buying it. First of all the dealer, Evans Halshaw (Mansfield) lied to us. They told us that the footrest on the front passenger seat came as standard. It was only as we were driving home after collection of the vehicle that my wife noticed it wasn't there. We phoned the dealer when we got home only to be told that this was no longer standard and was now an added extra. On day 2 the electric roof blind stopped working and is now stuck a quarter of the way open. In the first week the Blind spot Sensor developed a fault. Around week 2 the car would beep to say that a passenger hasn't got their belt on. This was despite there being no-one else in the car. This could only be stopped by pulling over, switching off the engine and re-starting. This has happened numerous times. Last week the car started to refuse to release the automatic handbrake because according to the car, the driver's door was still open...it wasn't. Even opening and closing the driver's door multiple times doesn't clear this fault. Again, the only way to clear the fault is to switch the engine off and back on again. Yesterday, week 5, the car has started to refuse to release the handbrake whilst trying to pull out of junctions. This is happening far too regularly now and is becoming very tedious. Again, the only way to rectify this is to pull over, switch the engine off and on again and continue your journey. The amount of times I have to pull over to switch the engine off then on again just to get the car to work as it should is beyond a joke! Bear in mind this is a 32k car! Not happy at all. And on top of that you can throw in the fact the park assist doesn't work, the radio randomly switches itself off and doesn't want to re-start and the car forces you to repeatedly re-connect your phone via bluetooth. This is a seriously flawed car and has put me off from ever owning a Citroen again. If all of the above wasn't bad enough the dealer says they can't fit us in to have it all fixed for another 4 weeks!
