Lots of car for your money, even if it is basic.
Costs
Average fuel economy, parts can be sourced very cheap.

Driving
Basic model only had 165/70R13s on much better with 175/65R14, suspension is brilliant great ride and on bumpy roads car don't skip on them like some cars.
Performance
Very quick for a 1.4 75bhp, surprises boy racers at the lights, good multi point injection system.

Living with it
Reliability
Coil went down and HT leads, everything else was expected wear and tear, very reliable and you could do hell of a lot worse than a Citroen.

Base model again lacks flair, SX models look lush.

Very good for base model, better models have nicer seats though.

Central locking, immobiliser and cover to hide stereo.

Coil and HT leads only went with age and miles, still purrs at 90k even after head on smash.

Anti roll bar link rod and a shocker went, nothing major.
