Citroën ZX Hatchback (1991 - 1998) 1.9 Turbo D Volcane 5d Owner Review

LOVED THIS CAR. Great looking, very comfortable, luxurious finish inside and quiet; even on the motorway. No squeaks, etc.. No raising your voice to have a conversation. Good boot and seat configurations. Only faults: Heater matrix blocked (wrong antifrezze); wheel bearing (replaced shortly after purchase); coolant leak (rubber seal on radiator bleed point); alternater (replaced after 17yrs). Driven every day of the 14 years I owned it, it never failed to start, never broke down. The engine was still purring strongly with almost 400,000 MILES on the clock, and the driving experience always great, more so for those I let have a drive. Smiles all round, but shock and praise at how well it handled and yeah, it went like stink. I traded it in on the crapage deal as it was almost 20 years old. I've always missed it. You know what? "I miss it too much, I got to get me another." It's not just the all round performance; it was so comfortable. And at the age I'm at now....the car might go like stink, I can't.
