Cupra Born review (2022)

In their own words

I went into this purchase with my eyes open. I did lots of research and watched lots of reviews, and in the end it seemed the best deal for me, especially with the 0% finance offer from SEAT (CUPRA). The laggy computer system was my main concern, but I have to say that it's not as bad as some reviews would have you believe. This is my first foray into the electric car world and I've been pleasantly surprised. It suits my commute and is so smooth and effortless to drive. It's rapid too, especially for overtaking. The range has been disappointing so far, although I'd kind-of expected it. I think the advertised range is achievable on a perfectly warm day with a following wind. I've only been getting 220miles on a full charge in cold weather, with lights, wipers, radio & heater on. The best way to describe it is like a petrol car with a very small tank, and they've closed most of the petrol stations. Once you've adjusted your thinking you'll begin to appreciate the Born. Personally, I love it.
