Great car for looking at and driving for the purchase price.
Costs
Parts seem very expensive. Local independant garage says so as well.

Superb compared to my old Ford - would like to compare to a Focus/147 though.
Performance
Feels/sounds fast - sure that it does 0-60 in about 8 rather than stated 10secs.

I need a reliable diesel! Would recommend DIY fixes where possible.

Slightly different - love it (or hate it).

Fairly soft suspension. Alloys make it a bit bumpy and seats poor (£500 to replace).

Seems fine - I don't think thieves bother because it ain't the usual Ford, as long as you don't leave things in sight.

2 cylinder coils (another 2 on way). £170 'each' to replace at local independant garage.
Other
New light/screen wiper steering stalks (£200!). Rear washer not working. 3 new exhausts (guaranteed).
