Ford C-MAX review

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Bought mainly to the requirements of my wife, who wanted a short bonnet, high seat position and good visibility, the C-Max has ticked all the boxes. It is very easy to drive, with a light clutch and smooth gearbox. I thought that it may have been a little underpowered with the 1.5 diesel engine and the advertised bhp, but it is adequate for all the conditions we have been in. Finances and availability meant that we couldn't get the 2litre Grand C-Max, but we are extremely happy with our car. It has all that we need, thankfully with the exception of an electronic brake which we had on our previous car! The brakes are excellent, and inspire confidence. Whilst not having leather upholstery, the seats are all comfy, with the front ones being heated. There is plenty of headroom for over 6 footers, and with plenty of room to take my Aunty who sadly has mobility issues at the moment. Being cheap to run, this model costs £20pa to tax, with long service and camshaft intervals. Our model has sensors all around as well as a rear camera, making it easier to reverse and park. We highly recommend it!

How reliable do you find the car?

Bought second-hand, the car has been free of any problem except for a slow puncture. The build quality and reviews generally make me think that hopefully I will have a very reliable car.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I am still discovering the capabilities of the Titanium spec, and the extras add to a better and saver driving experience.
