Ford C-MAX (2010 - 2019) 1.6 TDCi Zetec 5d Owner Review

Cars been great so far, felt a bit hesitancy at times but I have seen this reported before in other forums so a quick blast with cataclean and some dirt busting diesel seems to have done the trick, she does like to be cleared out from time to time on the bypass so do this now and again and you will be fine, this particular engine is built for motorway driving but working from home during the pandemic means most driving is in town so the particulate filter may do a regen from time to time at which point the fan will switch on when you switch the car off but don’t worry it’s normal, a quick motorway blast once a week should keep things clear.
