Have had car 2 years, was good value for my first car. Cheaper than other first time cars. Cheaper insurance than a nova and the 106

I have had the misfortune of encountering almost every problem one could experience in the last year. Have spent a lot more than I paid for her!

Driving
Find her nippy to drive and is quite happy to cruise at 70/80 mph.
Performance
I think the LXi version must make a difference because I think she's great for a 1.1l engine. Does roll considerably through corners and on the odd occasion when I have gone that bit too fast, you tend to feel very sick! doesn't like overtaking much.

Had one year of good running, but the last 14months have been stressful. has had most things replaced. still desists to start when it feels like it. combination of damp and an early automatic choke. 1st engine had emission problems

Comfort
Comfortable for shorter journeys. I am tall so I find the driving position quite uncomfortable at times now. decent amount of space for small car. would recommend 5dr

Would expect car to be easy to pinch if someone wanted. have to take chance that no-one would want her. don't have fancy stereo or extras

Mechanic used brings a lot of suspicion to mind..... amount of money spent relates to him in a big way! for example he replaced engine, 1 month later it stops working, he says that its the plugs! we think well you installed them a month ago...!

Engine
Engine been replaced, piston rod shot through engine. just before xmas 03 great! likes its oil!
Other
Since buying have replaced wing mirrors, alternator, engine, clutch, cat sensor, tyres seem to attract nails), and most recently shoes, drums and pads on back brakes. when damp she either won't start or she will stall as soon as the clutch is depressed
