Value
The value for money is great if you buy second hand - insurance is a little high in comparison to the toyata starlet, which is lighter and has similar power output.
Costs
Thrash it around and you'll get 36mpg, take your time and you can get up to 48mpg.

A car that holds it's own around town and on motorways.

Nippy, adequate, just what you need really.

Living with it
Reliability
Never had any problems, with the exception of the rear wiper, sometimes in the winter months it didn't want to work, sometimes it did.

Too many boy racers have got their hands on them now and has degraded the image, make sure you get body coloured bumpers and a reaer roof spoiler with the 4-spoke alloys and it looks lush.
Comfort
Later models have better seats, I got backache on long journeys, but then again, the journey's were for 4 hours at a time.
