Car has a high level of eeuipment, giving good value for money

Driving
Behaves well, very similar to the 1.25 also within the household
Performance
Only slightly better than the 1.25. Great in town, but gets noisy when worked hard on the motorway

Reliability
Creaking from drivers seat and clutch pedal. These have been fixed under warrenty. Also a defective instrument panel sometimes giving no speed readout, fuel gauge etc, again repaired under warranty

Since it is a high speced litted car it gives a better impression than the average LX or Zetec models

Leather seating slightly too firm for my taste

Seems well protected, also benefits from the integrated stereo

All defects fixed without problem and have voucher for two free services from the local Ford dealer
