  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Boy racer perhaps? I did get a nice understated one in silver and no stripes though so it's not too bad. I don't want to be labelled as a boy racer but also don't care if I am as I love the car and it's exactly what I want for now.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Dad loves it. I think he'll be purchasing a new car for himself soon out of jealousy! Everyone else seems to really like it too.

Would you buy this car again and why?

If I were to go back in time - absolutely, without hesitation. But no as I will be upgrading at some point in the future.

What are you likely to buy next?

Haven't even put any thought into it yet. But I drool every time I see the new Fiesta ST.

    £4,995

When did you buy the car?

    October 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

I didn't get a bad deal! Full service history, 52,000 miles and one of the nicest examples of a Fiesta ST I've seen for £4,995. Part of the deal was a full MOT, Service and 3 months warranty too.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Full service history, immaculate condition and it's an ST!

    What was the dealer like?

Quite friendly and lived up to their end of the deal precisely.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

So much fun! It pulls like a train in all gears and the acceleration will always put a smile on my face. You'll occasionally find faster hot hatches on the road in a straight line but you'll struggle to find a better handling one. It really is an absolute joy to drive and I can't get enough of it. The seats are extremely comfortable and hug you tight around the bends. You really have to drive one to know how nice it is, it's more than exceeded my expectations. The only down-side is that it can be a bit bumpy on poor roads but that's just compensation for the phenomenal handling.

    What's it like to park?

Easy - It's small and you get good visibility. Turning circle's abysmal though.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

I've only had it for a few days, but so far nothing's gone wrong and everything seems to be working perfectly.

What's most practical about your car?

Size-able boot space for a small car. It is after-all a hot hatch though so practicality isn't its strongest point. Expensive running costs are expected but well worth it.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The 6-CD multi-changer's a very nice gadget! Easy to use and saves faffing about with CDs whilst driving. The steering controls are also useful as well as the heated windscreen and mirrors.
