Surprised on the fuel economy due to all the bad reviews and extensive reports on how much fuel they drink! It's a sporty engine and designed to be reved... But If driven sensibly it will do a genuine (fill up/reset trip/fill up) 25 MPG in built up areas. 30-38 MPG on motorways sitting at 70mph. Then petrol is cheaper at the pump than diesel... To sum up, SMOOTH, MORE RELIABLE (no DPF/EGR!), CHEAPER TO BUY OFF THE FORECOURT, MUCH QUICKER OFF THE MARK IF NEEDED! Life is too short to NOT include a FOCUS ST into your "I've owned one" car resume

If correctly maintained I would say the 2.5 Volvo engined ST is the most reliable engine available, and sounds great as it has 5 cylinders!About their car
