Summary
What does this car say about you?
Bit of a boy racer car but this can be minimised by the right colour and no stripes
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All seem to like it. Performance blue paintwork is stunning and unique to ST
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. Great fun and generally trouble-free to own. Insurance not too bad considering performance. fuel economy OK but not great so bear this in mind. Other reviews reckon 33mpg and one 40mpg on a run. No way, best I have ever achieved is 30mpg on a run. 24-27mpg average depending on type of roads.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Car had been on forecourt for a while following a previous sale falling through. Small discount off list price but overall worth paying a bit more dealer price for piece of mind
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted one for ages especially once I'd heard one go past.
What was the dealer like?
OK, although aftersales was not good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic. Corners like a dream and accelerates with bucketloads of torque in every gear except 4th which seems a bit weedier than the others. This is easily solved with an engine remap
What's it like to park?
No problems although need to be careful of kerbs with the 18" wheels and low profile tyres.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing gone wrong that caused a breakdown. Steering rack recall fixed by chance when car in for something else. Water ingress in boot, never properly traced (Apparently a common fault but not covered under warranty beyond year 1.!!) Paint Lacquer peeling on front Bumper, been waiting 4 months for reply from Ford about repair under warranty
What's most practical about your car?
As practical as any other Focus (Good sized boot, great seats) but a wolf in sheep's clothing if you choose the right colour (i.e. not Orange)
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Xenon Headlights, Submarine lights inside. Leather bucket Seats std on ST-3 are just superb.
