In their own words

This is my third mondeo so I am a fan of these. I'm not sure what I'll do for my next car when Mondeos are discontinued. They are spacious, dependable, generally reliable and cheap to maintain. I tend to buy high ish milers and keep them 5 years, by which time they are worthless, so I don't go overboard with maintenance. The titanium has good trim level and lots of toys, not that I use Lane guidance particularly often. The speed limit display is good. That said, the sat nav is not user friendly compared to after market units. The power delivery on this model took a bit of getting used to as it feels slower that the 140hp previous model I owned, and it is less efficient on fuel, probably due to it being lower emissions however no complaints now. There has been one expensive fault on this car with a non functioning heated windscreen. Not sure if it was incompetence at the Ford garage but diagnostic cost a fortune, eventually replacing the battery. It's quite a common fault apparently. In looking at this myself I realised one of the fuse boxes is nigh on impossible to access at the roadside. I guess this is a symptom of really complex electrical systems and car software these days. And I hope this isn't a sign of poor electrical reliability- too early for me to say. Finally, I think this model is the best looking so far.
