  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

£7k for a 3 1/2 year old coupe! Beats most other similar priced competition everytime for value for money.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Fiesta priced parts and servicing although Ford dealer hourly charges are very high considering poor service

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Excellant, inspires confidence. You will rarely find the limits of this car's cornering abilities.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

No rocket from a stand still, in fact, don't bother racing anything half sporty from the traffic lights, wait until you get to the corners instead!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

A few little niggles, but much better than other recent Fords I have owned, and nothing that will spoil your enjoyment. They are starting to get a bit old now so there are increasing numbers of poorly treated dogs out there, be careful.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Anyone that says this is a hairdressers car has obviously never driven one. As always with sporty fords, it suffers from a lot of them being on the road, this will change though as time goes on, its sure to become a classic in the next few years

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

Not too bad considering its size. Don't expect it to be comfy if you do thousands of miles per year and you are over 6ft, no steering wheel adjustment and seat does not go low enough, a common Ford issue. Back seats are usable for short journeys.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

Seems very good, not tested yet. Like most Fords there are quite a lot about so they dont cry 'Steel/vandalise me!'

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

The only real bad point. Even buying this car with hard cash from a Ford dealer was tiresome. The after sales services from a number of differant Ford franchise dealers I have been to for this and previous fords has been shockingly bad!

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

As long as you look after it, it is fantastic.

    Other

Rubber around door windows can get trapped when winding windows up, boot leaks in water when opened, design fault!

    Ownership

Did you buy the car new?

    Used

Would you buy the same model again?

    Yes

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?

    No
