Ford Puma review (2024)

In their own words

I had a Puma for about 5 months a temporary company car. I was really under underwhelmed by the car so here goes the main bad point:

1) Suspension is rock solid - I know the car I had was an ST-Line but this car is in no way sporty so I'm not sure why they've bolted concrete hardness suspension to this 'SUV' when it really isnt needed.
2) The infotainment screen is terrible and clunky - the screen is really small and the UI is very dull and boring, working your way around the radio section is tedious and frustrating.
3) A really minor point but with annoyed me quite a lot is the gearknob has metal play on the top and this gets horribly cold to change gear on a really cold day - Very strange design.

Main good points:

1) Car handles well but not well enough that it makes up for the rock hard suspension.
2) Car is really good for economy - I got 60 mpg on a recent 250 miles round trip which I was naturally very happy with.
3) It's classed as an SUV but it definitely doesn't offer the size or space of an SUV

My car before this was a Kia Xceed which despite the 10 miles less MPG I would take every single time over the Puma. I wouldn't personally recommend the Puma unless MPG is your only need
