Value
Great value. Its a lot of car for the money with E/W,E/S/R,E/M,PAS as standard. Honda's legendary reliability is value enough!
Costs
Expensive on insurance. Honda servicing is dear so take it to a private garage for repairs, but how often will that happen eh!

On the road
Driving
Superb handling, but is let down by a notchy gearbox. Could be a lot tighter. Reverse is also hard to select at times. Sticks to the road well and performs well in corners. Driving position is out of this world.
Performance
Not amazing. Pulls away well from lights but runs out of puff easily, especially on hills.1.4 is a bit thrashy.1.5 V-TEC is the one to go for. Cruises well at speed.

100%.Not one thing went wrong.Japanese = Bulletproof Reliability

Ok looking in standard form but add alloys and a lowered suspension and it looks mean.Not too many about so has more street cred than alot of cars.
Comfort
VERY very comfortable. Out of all the car's I've ever driven it by far has the best driving postion. As the car is so low anyway, you just sit back and cruise.The adjustable steering wheel also helps.In the back there is loads of space even for 6 footers.

Security and Service
Security
Very poor. Immobiliser still doesn't stop thieves starting it. I bought a steel steering wheel security cover to stop it getting nicked. Civics can be stolen in 30 secs I heard!
