Value
Bought second hand for £3500 in year 2003.
Costs
Insurance is a bit high for a 1.4. 240miles approximate on a full tank.

Driving
Good handling, the seats are supportive when cornering.
Performance
Nothing special, unless u rev it above 4500rpm and you'll feel the car shift a little faster than throughout the rev range. Best would be to go for the VTEC as they are much more smoother and can be revved hard.

Reliability
Apart from the problem with the ball bearings, this car is well built.

Go for the sport model, looks far better than standard Civics.
Comfort
After a 3 hour drive I still couldn't fault the comfort of the seats.
