Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Had this car for nearly 3 years and to start off with it was everything that I expected but as the next couple of years went on it became clear to me that it wasn’t supposed to be. Apart from its flawless engine reliability and great performance with the electronics working fine. It let itself down horrendously. This line of the Civic comes with a major design fault where the plastic trims covering up the sills and going over the wheel arches don’t go in far enough making it more than easy to gather dirt, grit and all other road residue underneath. With this being said it caused thousands of pounds in repairs with regards to welding, labour and VAT. As time has gone on with this generation of the Civic it’s become more and more unlikely to find one that hasn’t been badly corroded away or had loads of money spent on repairing rust and corrosion damage. I personally wouldn’t recommend buying one now. Such a shame as Honda are renowned for its reliability and built quality but Honda didn’t look 15 years ahead where the plastic trims design would ultimately meet the demise of the car and a fortune in repairs. Maybe 5 years ago I would have undoubtedly recommended it but now I definitely don’t.
