In their own words

I purchased the car with 37k on the clock. In the first year I had problems with car not accelerating above 3000rpm. The garage replaced the EGR valve ,but the problem returned. This was traced by another dealer to the Diesel filter .once replaced I have had no more trouble ,so make sure the Diesel filter is changed EVERY 2 years I Get on average 52 mpg but have got (on rural roads) as much as 61mpg .this is against Hyundai's average of 67mpg. I had a choice between a 2012 Passat estate but the wife insisted we kept the Ix20 as it was so comfortable. Apart from replacement brake pads & discs @ 62k no other problems . I have the Style 1.6 diesel ,but in my opinion the glass roof is not worth having so I would go for the mid range car if I I bought another. Its a smallish car but has PLENTY of room inside & plenty of boot space .more if you put the boot floor in its lower position .the car comes with an emergency spare wheel. Not a full sized one. My previous car was a Citroen C5 which I loved ,but this IX20 ,well I have no complaints at all
