In their own words

The Jaguar XE is actually quite a good car. Actually it is a sports saloon. I suspect some folks will buy another bramd just because they dont know this car exists. I bought this car new after an older XJ that proved unreliable. Much has changed, but still grace, space and pace abound. What factors did I consider? Running costs (used fleet car calcualtors online to compare various modesl), beauty of sculpture from all angles (and many new cars fail badly on that from the rear), driveability (i.e. feels like a car not a video game to drive), passenger comfort (family and clients), and quality of trim and finish. Drives very well, especially pulling and cornering above 40mph. Despite only 180bhp, the car remains agile on a motorway. Big suprise to me that the feedback via the electric steering is useful, unlike some other cars that are using electric steering. Can park (and reverse parking is easy) after driving six hours and not feel tired. What would I change? Give me a manual handbrake ( for more control) to match the manual gearbox and the option of a 400bhp diesel.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Very good handling is on B roads. Laughably frugal with over 70mpg on a run.
