There are a lot of Cherrys on the market now, so an inspection is essential before purchase to prevent expensive suprises later!
Costs
Dealer servicing is horrendous - but there are many Jeep specialists - London Jeep in Enfield and EDM in Biscester - who do the work at less than the cost of a 2nd mortgage.

Needs usual care as do all 4x4s. Lovely to drive, though I have had Montego estates for the last 10 years!
Performance
Perky VM 2.5TD as used in early Range Rovers and Scorpio 2.5 TDs.

Look out for engines with worn pushrods/lifters on 80k mile plus examples.
