    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

5 door, excellent towcar, great in snow. Full size SUV properties, without river barge proportions.

    Costs

    5 out of 5 5.0

3rd Cherokee, no costs other than basic servicing. Solid, with any failures immediately attended to by dealer under warranty, replacement vehicle provided, no hassles - bliss!

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Don't believe everything you read in car oriented magazines.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Excellent at what it's designed to do. Not a sports car, but not a tortoise, especially when cruising. I would always recommend the auto thogh - tows up to 3300kg, faster and stress free driving.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

As above, had 3 Cherokee's, one wrangler, and about to buy my 4th Cherokee. Only 'problems' via factory recalls, otherwise absolutely trouble free.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Seems to be a 'prestige' 4x4 badge - like Land Rover. Unlike Land Rover, with some justification. Owned one Discovery - never again!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Best mix of car and 4x4 outside of 'soft roaders'. Live up several miles of very poor roads, so am bemused at the descriptions of its 'rough ride'.

  • Security and Service

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Cannot be beaten, although recent dealership changes mean a 300 mile round trip for me, as no Aberdeen based dealers any more.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

    None (ever).

    Other

Recall on new model on two occasions regarding brakes and steering. Courtesy vehicle plus pick-up and delivery, so no problem.
