Value
Comes with pretty much everything on in limited spec. Much cheaper than similarly spec'd Disco.
Costs
Hmm... servicing not cheap, but at least it's every 12k. Not ever so economical if run in permanent 4 wheel drive.

Handles far better than most other "proper" 4x4s.
Performance
Slug with less than 10k on the clock. Now reasonably nippy (for a big diesel lump) provided it's given a good hard poke on the accelerator

Second Cherokee, no problems apart from the odd recall

Dealer did make me do without the car for a day when they broke one of the brake drum springs on my last Cherokee, and didn't have one in stock.
