In their own words

A well specified plug in hybrid that gives around twenty five miles of motoring on a full charge in electric mode. Much less in cold winter months, that's if you can get it to run in electric mode without the noisy petrol engine kicking in! On cold mornings the petrol engine runs almost constantly at high revs destroying the fuel economy figures. Not much use on cold, dark winter mornings when the lights and heater are required. The car is also seriously lacking in power and struggles to get up steep hills even when only lightly loaded. For an economy sensitive driver this car is not really an option for winter driving. No way of achieving the stated fuel economy figures no matter how carefully one drives.
