Value
I bought mine 1 owner, 2 years old. I added privacy glass and a DVD player with PS2 (for £1000) and sold it two years later for the same money I bought it. You get so much car for your money, fully kitted out.
Costs
Nothing on this is expensive to buy, run or maintain - except for the fuel consumption.

On the road
Driving
Great position, v high and surprisingly good visibility even when reversing. Being such a big car and based on cheaper technology, you would be foolish to expect fantastic results. Yet I was extremely satisfied as my expectancy levels weren't unrealistic.
Performance
Lets face it, to keep the costs down the engines aren't the latest technology and in relative terms unrefined for today's market. Yet once again, I come back to the fact - it did what I wanted it to do and gladly cruised at 95mph with 7 people etc.

Again, no real problems. WHen the HT leads went, the dealer replaced them all for a very reasonable price. The servicing interval was in line with the old engines and a little dissapointing, but again not costly

Owning also a BMW my friend all laughed initially at the thought of me buying it. When they had been in it, toyed up etc, they were all swallowing their words. Ok so its a Kia, but I de-badged mine and people were perplexed on first inspection.
Comfort
All seats were spacious. We had the front (2) and middle (2) set of seats as captains chairs and this was very ""grand"" with total comfort. The rear bench seat was less luxurious.

I had no problems with mine in any way.
Service
Kia are aware they have brand image issues in the UK. That is why the dealers offer exceptional service. I even wrote to the UK MD in praise to the work they did on mine free of charge when BMW would have stung me for £300!!
