I like the fully loaded specification and two tone interior of my KX-4 but it comes at a hefty price in the VED supplementary rate for years 2 - 6. Most would be happy with the KX-3 to avoid this punitive cost for cars with a list price of over £40k but I used that argument with the dealer to get a sweeter deal. Our every day commute and limited social driving right now returns around 28-33mpg but a monthly 120 mile round trip to my shielding mother with groceries returns 40-42mpg and I'm happy enough as the engine is smooth, powerful and quiet - in fact the noise suppression and ride quality of this Sorento exceeds our expectations.
How reliable do you find the car?
This is my 3rd Kia and I find the build quality and materials used to be excellent.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
My KX-4 is fully loaded. I like the radar cruise control and also the 360 cameras which you can see front forward, left and right - very useful when reverse parked edging out beyond a big van that parked next to it whllst we were shopping.About their car
