We had test driven one when first released but could not afford at the time, a second hand Freelander seemed ideal.

What's it like to drive?

Terrible, heavy clutch with pedal sqeek, squeeking noise when turning steering and pneumatic knock when turning, rattles everywhere, noisy engine and transmission.

What's it like to park?

poor turning circle and rear visibility.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Everything !!! Steering Track Rod Ends Viscous Coupling & Bearings N/S rear trailing arm bush Front Diff Mount Sunroof lift mechs N/S faulty Head gasket & PRT thermostat New Clock (missing Digits) sqeaking clutch pedal assembly. windscreen wiper motor assy (noisy faulty joints) New Differential and rear mountings. Re- charged Air Conditioning O/S inner trailing arm bush New Ignition Parts; Leads / Cap / Rotor Arm Side steps have rusted badly Too many rattles to mention ! Power steering knocks on turn over rough ground Heat Shield exhaust downpipe has fallen off Power steering pump hose and resevoir leaks Front Subframe mounting Rear Brake Light Corroded

Nothing spend too long repairing the **** thing !!
