  • Summary

    1 out of 5 1.0

What does this car say about you?

There's someone who fell for the the Land Rover brand. Fool.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

If they have never owned one, they think it's the quality option. If they have owned one they know better. Most hate the ride quality and the sea sick inducing ride.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Never, if it was the last car on earth, I'd walk. I have an Austin Allegro which is much batter made.

What are you likely to buy next?

X-Trail, CRV, Anything else. Unfortunately I have spent so much on this car I now need to keep it for 70k just to recover the money.

    August 2012

Did you get a good deal and why?

Deal was OK, but unfortunately I swapped money for a freelander. Got an amazing trade in on my Citroen, now I know why.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted a 4x4 and thought land rover made good ones. How wrong I was.

    What was the dealer like?

I imagine he was overjoyed to see the back of it.

  • Driving it

    1 out of 5 1.0

    What's it like to drive?

Like a slow barge. Compared to a Nissan X-Trail or CRV this is a joke of a car.

    What's it like to park?

Fine, until the rear demister and rear window wiper stops working.

  • Living with it

    1 out of 5 1.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Where should I start. There should be a law against building a car with a 70k design life. Every 70000 miles the VCU WILL go wrong, and whan it does it will take out the diff. Look and see how many 2wd conversions are done on these. Simply having low tyre pressure will destroy this expensive item. Then there's the work on the brakes, elctrical faults, etc.

What's most practical about your car?

Four wheel drive in the winter, rear window can be left open for long loads.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It doesn't have gadgets, if it did they wouldn't work.
