  • Economy

    Value

    2 out of 5 2.0

25k+ is a lot of money when new, especially as the technology is very old (Montego/Maestro switchgear on a 55 plate car!).

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

12k service and brakes pads need doing now at 18k.

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

Rides well, but handling is stodgy and there is very little feel, grips well and understeers when pushed.

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

Fine in town and up to 40mph but really struggles as a motorway fast lane vehicle, (to be expected though), because of low down torque.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

I am amazed how well it's done. No faults, even though car has done 18k in 4 months! Much better than the early cars.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Looks much better than it drives and as SUV's go it isn't offensive.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Nice vehicle to cruise in due to ride and its not even that noisy.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

I've had no problems Alarm and immobiliser are standard.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

They wash it every time it goes into the garage. I don't pay service bills, I don't think they are cheap!
