Was lucky. Paid £4k for my 95/M when other poeple were selling 1.6 K regs for £5K... plus nothing broke or died or needed work on randomly.
Costs
Eats petrol like its going out of fashion, servicing and MOT parts are pricey.

Extremely smooth drive, handles very well.

Brilliant, fast enough for me, speedy and smooth.

Novelty has worn off slightly, but it still looks good and does get second looks from people in the street (that might be more to do with the scruff bag driving it though!)
Comfort
I've been told by friends that it's not great to be a backseat passenger in this car, but I am more than comfortable in the front!

My particular car came with alarm and immobiliser and I've had no problems.

Have used independent garages for all servicing, Mazda are pricey.
