  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

A pleasure to drive around town or on country roads. Be aware though that on motorways the cabin noise is loud even with the hard top. Overall though a great driving car.

    What's it like to park?

Simple. Its got a big nose but you get used to that.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The only problem I've had in the 4 years I've had the car is a judder in the clutch when reversing. This was fixed very quickly under warranty. According to the guy who fixed it it is a common fault in 03 mx-5's.

What's most practical about your car?

You don't really buy a car like this for practicality. At best you could say it has a handy arm rest compartment and a cup holder.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The hard top that came with the car. Irish weather makes one of these a near essential.
