What does this car say about you?
The MX-5 has the cliche of a hairdressers' car but if you can live with that it's a really fun car for a really fun middle aged guy.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everybody I have come into contact with likes the car. Even the friends that have called it the hairdressers' car admit to liking it deep down.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definitely buy another MX-5 as this has been reliable, cost effective, fun to drive and turns heads too.
What are you likely to buy next?
I have no intentions of buying another car in the near future as this car is reliable, trouble-free and I enjoy it. I own another car which I use when I need more seats but most of the time this is my main car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives smoothly. Comfortable for a little sports car. Easy to park. Cruises along on the motorway although little noisy due to soft top. Turn the stereo up and it soon drowns out the wind noise. Bit temperamental road holding in the wet.
What's it like to park?
If you need a place to park and there is only that one tight space left, then this is the car for you. It will fit in the tightest of spaces. Only problem I have is getting out of the car with it being so low down. But that is what I bought.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
In the time I have owned this MX-5 it has been faultless.
What's most practical about your car?
The MX-5 is cheap to run. Only has two seats so you don't have to take the kids. Responsive on the roads. (In the dry). Lovely gearshift.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Obviously the soft top roof. Every opportunity I want to let the roof down. You know you want to.
