• Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

Poser, too much spare cash, bit of a boy racer.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Very impressed but not entirely surprised. I said I was off to look at a four door practical saloon car and came home with this. Still four doors, still practical yet huge fun.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably not: got one, love it to pieces but I don't think I can live with such poor fuel economy. 25mpg on paper isn't too bad but I promise you, you will want to thrash it resulting in about 16 mpg!

What are you likely to buy next?

    Ford Focus in electric orange!

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £7,000

When did you buy the car?

    August 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

Decent price for part exchange and some freebies thrown in: warranty, petrol, next MOT and service free. Pitted two salesmen against each other, screen price was dropped by nearly £1000 before freebies

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Looks, good price, relatively practical considering it's meant to be a coupe

    What was the dealer like?

Fairly useless once the deposit was paid. Had my private reg transferred but tokk almost a month because they took 2 weeks to post the documents away.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Sometimes it can be too good to drive, resulting in way too many stops at the petrol pumps.

    What's it like to park?

Surprisingly easy. Limited visibility but if you can't park you shouldn't be driving

  • Living with it

    3 out of 5 3.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Slight rattles at low revs but it just means I have to drive it in higher revs, not such a problem with this car ;)

What's most practical about your car?

It can actually hold 4 adults but not for a long journey I'd imagine.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated seats, fantastic on a cold morning driving to work.
