Good on fuel, cheap to insure and long service intervals.

Good around town, but struggles on open road. Go for 1.6 instead.

Problem with electric window switches (common apparently) but little else.

It's a Merc and people DO notice and make favourable comments. No one ever commented on my Renault Scenic!

Ok seats, massive legroom, but feels narrow. Ride quality annoys.
