In their own words

The comfort levels are way up there with other Mercs I’ve owned. It’s quiet, fast and unflustered. The electronics are mind-boggling and also its Achilles heel. They’re enormously complex. Now, I’m no Luddite and embrace technology when it eases the strains of modern life. But you need a PhD to understand and remember everything this car is capable of. I’m sure I’ll get used to it eventually. One thing I absolutely hate is the lane assist. I understand the concept but it’s operation is annoying; like big brother watching and tutting when you cross a broken white line or, worse still, snatching the steering when you cross an unbroken one. On my last car it could be permanently disabled. On this one you have to switch it off every time you get in the car.
