It’s true that the product is much better than the dealers. Way too much attention to coffee and posh lounges than to meaningful service. You are always made to feel like the dealers are doing you a huge favour by allowing you to use their facilities. You can never get to discuss anything with the people who service your car, they keep these people well away from the paying customers. The service coordinators are very knowledgeable about prices and terms and conditions but very little else. The whole set up feels dis-functional and designed to keep the customer at contractual arms length. The car is completely wonderful, air con failed on the hottest day of the year, fixed by the dealer foc under warranty but it took the dealer 3 days because they de-prioritised the job in favour of “paying” customers. Feeble apologies offered.
