The car is nice to drive, very well appointed, comfortable and remarkably fuel efficient for such a large vehicle. It has some rather complex features however that you need to ensure are activated, and correctly set up by the dealer before you take delivery. In my case the emergency call feature, concierge service, communication with the Mercedes Me App and full functionality with my phone were not working and took me three weeks to sort. The dealer was of little help. There was nothing wrong with the car, just a few software interfacing problems and a lack of information on how to resolve them. Not something that should be left to the owner.
The car is now great however and I consider it an excellent choice. The specification and Mercedes quality control are excellent.
How reliable do you find the car?
Incomplete set up and lack of information from the dealer relating to the various apps, phone and on-board computer interfaces required for some of the more advanced features left me spending three weeks sorting the problems myself.About their car
