Value
This is a subjective question. It vlaue for money as a mercedes and it really does feel the best in its class now. But then you could buy faster or cheaper cars so it would depned on what you want.
Costs
Will let you know when I have had it long enough. Insurance was £92 a year cheaper than the subaru wrx it replaces.

On the road
Driving
I had a previous 200K. The latest is in a different class althogether. The Subaru impreza I part-ex'd for this car was only better in size and practicality and speed. As far as handling is concered it is excellent. It rides quiet and feels very well built
Performance
For a 1.8 it sounds well and goes like you would expect from an auto. No complaints and the speed limiter should help the licence retention, at least it will not swell the governemnts coffers in speeding tax.

Comfort
Optional sport suspension may well be a bit firm for some so i would test drive both if you need to make a choice. The electric seats have loads of options to find the best psotion, but the manual versions i have are simple, effective and comfortable.

Security
No dead locks. Who knows why? This requires a tracker device to allow insurance cover to pay out if stolen.
Service
Stealerships!!!! You cant win can you. At least the coffee is okay and they do treat you with respect after you have bought one.
