Value
Newer models are significantly cheaper and therefore good value but... (see below)

Depreciation seems poor (worrying).

Handles very nicely and it's good fun.
Performance
Good (if not excellent) on fuel, but needs more power.

Reliability
In my experience, VERY bad. Car jolted and seemed to ^^miss^^. A problem which baffled even MG main dealer. Roof leaked badly which stained seats. Started overheating. (All this despite being fully main dealer serviced.)

Comfort
Not bad for two-seater.

Security
Alarm/Immobiliser fitted. Poor roof seals and plastic rear window would make easy to get in (but saying that, so would a brick for the determined).
Service
I bought privately so can"t really complain. Were reluctant to help fix the roof leaks even though car was less than two years old. In the end, they agreed to contribute to cost (although it was very expensive).

Overheated, misfired (jolted so badly the seatbelts locked) - eased by use of Super Unleaded.
Other
Make sure it's a good one if you"re buying. Bad experience with mine, but they can be a lot of fun.
