Value
Paid £11k for an R reg with all possible extras and 29k miles.
Costs
Parts prices ok, but MGF labour charges are expensive.

Driving
Road handling is quite good.
Performance
Does not feel powerful for such a small car with a 1.8i engine.

Reliability
Ok - Roof delays me constantly due to stupid Japanese style two fold put down and difficult to close due to fittings sometime being unaligned.

Too common to be a headturner - more of a female car.
Comfort
Ok for me - not a good idea for anyone taller than average or wider than average.

Security
Immobiliser will hopefully stop car being stolen altogether, but due to alarm being unsensored, there's no hope for break-ins or vandalism.

MGF direct - not interested with used cars not bought from them direct, feel like.

Head gasket blew (MGF design fault). Roof adjustment etc, wheel alignment probs, the list goes on.
