A hoot to drive compared to my previous VW Golf. Handling and grip superb.
Performance
It's quick enough, though it could do with a bit more torque.

Well it needed a new engine after the 1st month, but no other problems at all.

I think MG has a good image, it certainly gets you noticed.

Ride is reasonable, space good, but seats uncomfortable after a couple of hours driving.
