Value
I really believe you are getting a good reliable and all rounder car for your money here, especially if buying used.
Costs
Although with a perky 1.4i 16v engine, I seem to get good miles to the gallon.

On the road
Driving
Comfortable driving positions, however the car has a bulky feel to it when manoeuvring on tight corners.
Performance
Certainly a nippy engine 0-60 and even at 60+. I have had this car almost flat out at 115 mph (in safe conditions of course) and acceleration was still noticeable. However, car seems to lie down on steeper hills.

Starts at first turn of key every time. I would put the reliability up with the likes of Toyota.

My1.4 SI model tends to have very sporty looks similar to the 2.0 GTI which makes mine very attractive. This seems to have been one of a limited edition by Nissan as I have rarely seen one similar.
Comfort
Pretty average.

I still have the car, which says something I suppose. However, I feel this model should have been fitted with a manufacturers alarm, instead, I had to fit my own.

Purrrrring, lively and reliable engine.
Other
I have lately had a 'Airbag' light flashing continuously, which I have been told is a 'petty' type fault which is quite common in this some Nissans, and can be expensive enough to fix! Be careful.
